About Us

The Beauregard Amateur Radio Group (BARG) is a volunteer organization of licensed amateur radio operators and radio enthusiasts. Our members range from new hams to experienced operators with decades of on-the-air experience.

Our mission is to support emergency communications, promote amateur radio education, and serve our local community.

Membership

Membership is open to licensed amateur radio operators and anyone interested in becoming licensed. You do not need radio equipment to join.

Club Meetings:
Day & Time: Second Saturday of every month at 7 PM

Weekly Net:
Day & Time: Monday & Thursday @ 7:30PM
Frequency / Repeater: 146.850MHz PL 203.5

Emergency Communications

Amateur radio plays a critical role when normal communication systems fail. Our members train regularly to provide backup communications during severe weather and other emergencies.

Through preparedness, coordination, and practice, we help ensure that vital information can be passed when it matters most.
