The purpose is to check our equipment to ensure proper functionality.<br \/>\nClub Net: Thursdays at 19:30 &#8211; This is an informal net to visit and share any news from our stations.\u00a0 It too is open to all ham operators in range of the repeater.<br \/>\nThe K5LJO (147.240, +600, 203.5) is our backup repeater for nets, and a good active community repeater.<br \/>\nWe also have a DMR talkgroup on <a href=\"https:\/\/hamunited.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ham United<\/a>.\u00a0 It is 312212.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Monthly Club Meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month at 19:00.<\/strong><br \/>\nWe meet at Christway Church on Lawlis Rd. in DeRidder, Louisiana.<br \/>\nThank you to <a href=\"https:\/\/christwayla.org\/\">ChristWay Church<\/a> for allowing us to use their facilities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Events and Activities<\/strong><br \/>\nWe actively participate in both ARRL Field Day and Winter Field Day.<br \/>\nWe also convoy to nearby Ham Fests in Orange, TX and Rayne, LA.<br \/>\nFuture community events are being planned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We gather twice weekly on the W5RNJ repeater, 146.850MHz, -600, 203.5 ARES Net:\u00a0 Mondays at 19:30 &#8211; This net is for all ham operators within range of the repeater.
